Location:

Red Reef Park - 1400 North Ocean Boulevard, Boca Raton, FL 33482

Join the Institute for Regional Conservation in this exciting project with the City of Boca Raton! On Saturday, May 10th from 9am to 11am. IRC and our volunteers will be working together to remove nonnative species from the park and the beach dune. Please meet us in front of the picnic table area (in front of the main bathrooms) at Red Reef Park, make a left into the park, and park in front of the bathroom area. A map of where to meet will be sent to your email upon registration. We will have a sign in table at the picnic tables in front of the bathroom area. Groups of volunteers will be instructed how to remove nonnative plants and learn about coastal ecosystems.

There is no experience required! So grab a friend and come out to help repair the essential biodiversity of Red Reef Park's beach dune ecosystem. Whether this is your first volunteer event with us or you're a repeat volunteer, we are so excited to have you join the IRC family and see how much fun habitat restoration can be!

Sign up to come along or email our coordinator with additional questions. A confirmation email containing all the event details will be sent to all registered participants on the day prior to the event.

We recommend that you wear comfortable outdoor clothing, you will be in full sun. Wear a hat and sunscreen! Bring a reusable water bottle and anything else that makes you comfortable in the outdoors! We will provide the rest.
