Volunteer Event - Reviving Urban Nature - Boynton Beach

Date & Time:

Saturday, August 2nd from 8:00am - 10:30am

Location:

Galaxy Sand Pine Scrub Preserve - 461 Boynton Beach Boulevard, Boynton Beach, FL 33435

Join the Institute for Regional Conservation and the City of Boynton Beach to restore a portion of Galaxy Sand Pine Scrub Preserve! On Saturday, August 2nd join IRC for a fun volunteer event where participants will install native plants in an area where invasive species were removed. This will allow us to enhance the native biodiversity of the park.

There is no experience required! So grab a friend and come out to help repair the essential biodiversity of the Galaxy Sand Pine Scrub Preserve. Whether this is your first volunteer event with us or you're a repeat volunteer, we are so excited to have you join the IRC family and see how much fun habitat restoration can be!

Sign up to come along or email our coordinator with additional questions. A confirmation email containing all the event details will be sent to all registered participants on the day prior to the event.

We recommend that you wear comfortable outdoor clothing, you will be in full sun. Wear a hat and sunscreen! Bring a reusable water bottle and anything else that makes you comfortable in the outdoors! We will provide the rest.
