Notas de Conservación/Conservation Notes: Hylocereus trigonus fue puesto en sinonimia bajo H. triangularis durante la reciente evaluación de la Lista Roja global de la UICN de las Cactaceae (basado en Hunt 2006) y permanece sin evaluación como un taxón distinto. / Hylocereus trigonus was placed into synonymy under H. triangularis during the recent IUCN global assessment of the Cactaceae (based on Hunt 2006), and remains unassessed as a distinct taxon.
