Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for disturbed areas, scrublands and thickets throughout the Archipelago (Abaco and Grand Bahama to the Anguilla Cays and Crooked Island). Reported by Correll & Correll (1345, 1347-1348, with illustrations) for disturbed areas, scrublands and thickets throughout the Archipelago (regions 10-1, 11).
