Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for ponds and water holes nearly throughout the Commonwealth (Grand Bahama, Andros, New Providence, Cat Islands, San Salvador and Crooked Island). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 534-535, with illustrations) for ponds and water holes nearly throughout the Commonwealth (regions 10-3).
