ESTATUS EN LA ISLA DE PUERTO RICO/STATUS ON THE ISLAND OF PUERTO RICO
Presencia/Occurence: Reportado/Reported.

Historia y distribución/History and distribution: An herbaceous grass reported by Liogier & Martorell (2000) as occurring in moist places but rejected by Axelrod (2011) based on no specimens seen and by Acevedo-Rodríguez & Strong (2012, 2016). However, there is a specimen online at the NY herbarium annotated as this by Frank Axelrod in 2006 (Acosta s.n.), collected in 1967 in Gurabo.
