Historia y distribución/History and distribution: A rare herb in northern Puerto Rico at low elevations. Major geographic regions following Axelrod (2011): Northern Coastal Lowlands (Loíza). Botanically unique areas following Axelrod (2011): none. Verification of the status of this on the island of Puerto Rico is needed. There are no specimens at any of the major online herbaria (MAPR, NY, UPRRP, US). Also recorded for Vieques.
