Origen/Origin: Nativo/Native.

Historia y distribución/History and distribution: Un helecho epífito, raro, recolectado una vez en 1941 por H.L. Blomquist (11882 US) sobre rocas secas cerca de la base de una cascada a 400-500 m de elevación, El Verde, Bosque Nacional de El Yunque, Sierra de Luquillo (Proctor 1989, Liogier & Martorell 2000, Axelrod 2011). No hay registros de esta en MAPR (Jeanine Vélez, com. email 2016).

A rare epiphytic fern collected once in 1941 by H.L. Blomquist (11882 US) on dry rocks near the base of a waterfall at 400-500 m elevation, El Verde, El Yunque National Forest, Sierra de Luquillo (Proctor 1989, Liogier & Martorell 2000, Axelrod 2011). There are no records of this at MAPR (Jeanine Vélez, email comm. 2016).
