Presencia/Occurence: Presuntamente extirpado o extinto/Presumed extirpated or extinct.

Origen/Origin: Nativo/Native.

Historia y distribución/History and distribution: Una orquídea epífita, rara, recolectada en 1935 por F.W. Horne (4 NY) en las Montañas de Luquillo. Citada como posiblemente confundida con P. ruscifolia por Ackerman (1995) pero incluida para Puerto Rico en Ackerman (2014). Citada por Axelrod (2011) como un taxón no recolectado recientemente. No hay registros de esta en MAPR (Jeanine Vélez, com. email 2016).

A rare epiphytic orchid collected in 1935 by F.W. Horne (4 NY) in the Luquillo Mountains. Cited as possibly confused with P. ruscifolia by Ackerman (1995) but included for Puerto Rico in Ackerman (2014). Listed as a taxon not recently collected by Axelrod (2011). There are no records of this at MAPR (Jeanine Vélez, email comm. 2016).
