Historia y distribución/History and distribution: Una hierba rara en el centro de Puerto Rico en elevaciones altas. Principales regiones geográficas conforme a Axelrod (2011): Cordillera Central (Bosque Estatal de El Toro). Áreas botánicamente únicas conforme a Axelrod (2011): ninguna. Recolectada en 1962 (9538 US) y 1989 (36842 UPR) por Henri Liogier en el Bosque Estatal de El Toro. Se necesita confirmar su presencia en Puerto Rico.

A rare herb in central Puerto Rico at high elevations. Major geographic regions following Axelrod (2011): Central Cordillera (El Toro State Forest). Botanically unique areas following Axelrod (2011): none. Collected in 1962 (9538 US) and 1989 (36842 UPR) by Henri Liogier at El Toro State Forest. Confirmation of its presence in Puerto Rico is needed.
