Presencia/Occurence: Presuntamente extirpado o extinto/Presumed extirpated or extinct.

Origen/Origin: Nativo/Native.

Historia y distribución/History and distribution: Una grama rara recolectada varias veces en el este de Puerto Rico entre 1825 y 1943 (ver Axelrod 2011, herbario US en línea). Aparentemente recolectada por última vez en 1943 por F.H. Sargent (3054 US) en Alto de la Bandera en Adjuntas. Citada por Axelrod (2011) como un taxón no recolectado recientemente. No hay registros recientes de esta en MAPR (Jeanine Vélez, com. email 2016).

A rare grass collected several times in eastern Puerto Rico between 1825 and 1943 (see Axelrod 2011, US herbarium online). Apparently last collected in 1943 by F.H. Sargent (3054 US) at Alto de la Bandera in Adjuntas. Listed as a taxon not recently collected by Axelrod (2011). There are no recent records of this at MAPR (Jeanine Vélez, email comm. 2016).
