Presencia/Occurence: Presente/Present.

Origen/Origin: No nativo, naturalizado/Not native, naturalized.

Historia y distribución/History and distribution: Cited as naturalized in Puerto Rico by Liogier (1997 [V: 275]) and Liogier & Martorell (2000). Plants cited as this in Britton & Wilson 1926 [V(3): 320] were E. fosbergii (Liogier & Martorell 1982, Axelrod 2011). Furthermore, Axelrod (2011) stated that all the specimens he had seen were referable to E. fosbergii. However, this is cited as naturalized in Puerto Rico in the Flora of the West Indies (Acevedo-Rodríguez & Strong 2015).
