Historia y distribución/History and distribution: Un helecho epífito, raro, en el noroeste de Puerto Rico. Principales regiones geográficas conforme a Axelrod (2011): Colinas Calizas del Norte (Bosque Estatal de Río Abajo). Áreas botánicamente únicas conforme a Axelrod (2011): ninguna. UPRRP en línea también tiene un espécimen recolectado por Frank Axelrod en el Bosque Nacional de El Yunque (5734 UPRRP), y este debería ser revisado (enlace al espécimen roto).

A rare epiphytic fern in northwestern Puerto Rico at low elevations. Major geographic regions following Axelrod (2011): Northern Limestone Hills (Río Abajo State Forest). Botanically unique areas following Axelrod (2011): none. UPRRP online also has a specimen collected by Frank Axelrod in El Yunque National Forest (5734 UPRRP), and this should be reviewed (specimen link is broken).
