Cited from Puerto Rico in error by Liogier & Martorell (2000), based on distribution data in Acevedo-Rodríguez (1996) for the Greater Antilles in general and not Puerto Rico specifically (Axelrod 2011). However, Puerto Rico is within the native range, and it is possible that it was or is present here.
