Florida Keys History and Distribution: Not reported for the Florida Keys by John Kunkel Small in 1931. We consider this native and extant in the upper Keys and lower Keys. An herbarium voucher for the Monroe County Keys was recently collected by George Wilder and colleagues at Dagny Johnson Key Largo Hammock Botanical State Park (34470 SWF).
