Florida Keys History and Distribution: Reported in
1913 by John Kunkel Small for hammocks from the upper Keys to the lower Keys. However, Elbert Little's 1978 range map shows this only as far south as about Vaca Key (Marathon); which matches our field observations. We consider this native from the upper Keys to the middle Keys.
