Florida Keys History and Distribution: Not reported for the Florida Keys by John Kunkel Small in 1913. First collected in 1952 on Big Pine Key by E.P. Killip (41771, NY, US). We consider this native and assumed present only on Big Pine Key in the lower Keys; recent observations or vouchers of the species on Big Pine Key are needed.
