Florida Keys History and Distribution: Not reported for the Florida Keys by John Kunkel Small in 1913. We consider this native and possibly extirpated in the lower Keys. Last reported for the National Key Deer Refuge by Austin et al. (1980). A specimen at FLAS needs to be checked.
