Florida Keys History and Distribution: Reported in
1913 by John Kunkel Small for open hammocks and sandy places in the lower Keys. It is still present there in disturbed areas at Key West. It was also collected on Adams Key in the upper Keys by George D. Gann and Keith A. Bradley (1106, FTG) in 2001. Although weedy, we consider this native and extant in the upper Keys and lower Keys.
