History in the Bahamas: Not listed in Britton & Millspaugh (1920). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 327) for shrubby pastureland, fallow fields and in thin soil on pitted rocks scattered nearly throughout the Archipelago (regions 10, 4, 1).
