History in the Bahamas: Not listed in Britton & Millspaugh (1920). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 327-328, with illustrations) for wet soil in disturbed areas, vacant lots and open, grassy slopes scattered nearly throughout the Archipelago (10, 8, 4, 3).
