History in the Bahamas: Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh. Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 284) as an epiphyte and lithophyte on trees, shrubs, rock flats and boulders in coppices and scrublands, throughout the Commonwealth (regions 10-1).
