History in the Bahamas: Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for coppices and shrublands. Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 278-279) as epiphytic on shrubs and small trees in coppices and scrublands throughout the Archipelago (regions 10-1).
