History in the Bahamas:
Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for caves and sinkholes in coppices in the northwestern and central Commonwealth (Abaco, Andros, New Providence, Eleuthera, Cat Island). Reported by Correll & Corell (1982: 52) for the walls of sinkholes and banana holes in coppices in the northwestern and central Commonwealth (regions 10-6, 4).
