History in the Bahamas:
Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for pinelands, coppices, caves and sinkholes in the northwestern Commonwealth (Grand Bahama, Andros, New Providence, Eleuthera). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 48-49) for the wall of banana holes and sinkholes in coppices and pinelands in the northwestern Commonwealth (regions 10-8).
