History in the Bahamas:
Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for salina borders and maritime rocks in the northwestern, southeastern and southwestern Archipelago (South Bimini, New Providence, Andros, Eleuthera, Riding Rocks, Inagua, and islands of the Cay Sal Bank). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 462) for open salt flats, rocky areas, edges of mangroves and in saline soils in the northwestern, southeastern and southwestern Archipelago (regions 10-8, 2, 11).
