Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for pinelands in the northwestern Commonwealth (Abaco and New Providence). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 1358) for pinelands, open coppices and gravely flats in the northwestern and central Commonwealth (regions 10, 8-7).
