History in the Bahamas:
Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for moist shaded rocky areas from the northwestern Commonwealth (Abaco, Andros). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 2-4, with illustrations) for sinkholes, banana holes, on rock flats in crevices, and in moist soil around ponds and pools in the northwestern Commonwealth (regions 10-9).
