History in the Bahamas:
Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for disturbed area in the northwestern Commonwealth (Abaco, Andros, New Providence, Eleuthera). Reported by Correll & Correll (1345-1346, with illustrations) for disturbed areas and coppices in the northwestern and central Commonwealth (regions 10-8, 5-4).
