				History in the Bahamas:
Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for a cave on East Caicos, where it grew with N. exaltata. Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 30) for the shelter of caves and rocky woodlands in the Turks and Caicos Islands (region 1); the only specimen cited is at NY, so it is not clear that this was ever observed by the Corrells.
