History in the Bahamas:
Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for whitelands and shrublands nearly throughout the Archipelago (Whale Cay, Eleuthera, Cat Island, Mayaguana, Atwood Cay, Great Ragged Island, Long Cay, Castle Island, Crooked Island, Great Inagua, the Caicos, Grand Turk). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 1154, 1156) for whitelands, shrubland and coastal coppices nearly throughout the Archipelago (regions 9-7, 4-1).
