Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for shrublands and whitelands nearly throughout the Commonwealth (Grand Bahama and Abaco to Mayaguana and the Anguilla Cays). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 1154-1155, with illustrations) for shrublands and whitelands, nearly throughout the Commonwealth (regions 10-3, 11).
