History in the Bahamas:
Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for “trodden sands of roadside paths, and in rocky and sandy soil” nearly throughout the Archipelago (Grand Bahama to Grand Turk and Ambergris Cay). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 483-484, with illustrations) for open rocky and sandy soils and disturbed areas nearly throughout the Archipelago (regions 10, 8, 6-1).
