History in the Bahamas: Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for water holes and sinkholes near The Bight on Cat Island. Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 267-268, with illustrations) sluggish streams, sloughs, quiet lakes and ponds in the central Commonwealth (region 7).
