Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for sandy areas in the Anguilla Cays and "Water Cay". Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 324) for sand ridges along the coast in the northwestern Commonwealth and the southwestern small islands (regions 9-8, 11).
