Native Range: Endemic to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, where limited to Long Island (accepted as endemic by Freid et al. 2014).

Comments: In rock crevices among wind-stunted shrubs along the exposed coastline; central archipelago in the region of Long Island (Correll & Correll, 1982). This is a hybrid between C. mesembrianthemifolia and C. vaginulata.
