History in the Bahamas: In open, rocky coppices and pinelands; northwestern and central archipelago (Correll & Correll, 1982).

Comments: For an image of a type specimen collected on Andros by John I. Northrop and Alice R. Northrop in 1890, visit the New York Botanical Garden Virtual Herbairum.

Synonyms: Eupatorium bahamense.
