Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for disturbed areas on the inhabited islands nearly throughout the Archipelago (Grand Bahama to Watling’s Island, Acklin’s Island and Long Island, East Caicos and Grand Turk). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 458) for disturbed areas and cultivated soils nearly throughout the Archipelago (regions 10, 8-1).
