History in the Bahamas:
Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for disturbed areas near the larger towns in the northwestern and central Commonwealth (New Providence, Eleuthera, Cat Island). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 456-458, with illustrations) for disturbed areas especially in inhabited areas in the northwestern and central Commonwealth (regions 8-7, 5-4).
