History in the Bahamas:
Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for the margins of saltwater ponds and on maritime rocks in the northwestern to central and southwestern Commonwealth (Abaco and Grand Bahama to Watling’s Island and the Anguilla Cays). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 475-476, with illustrations) for “saline soils, wet sands, coastal dunes and maritime rock exposures nearly throughout the Commonwealth (regions 10-8, 6-5, 2, 11).
