History in the Bahamas:
Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for shrublands, coppices and pinelands nearly throughout the Archipelago (Grand Bahama, Abaco and Andros south to Mayaguana and North Caicos). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 1128-1129, with illustrations) shrublands, coppices and pinelands nearly throughout the Archipelago (regions 10-6, 4-3, 1).
