History in the Bahamas: Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for sinkholes in the northwestern Commonwealth (Abaco, New Providence, Andros). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 7) for moist walls of sinkholes and on rock ledges in open coppices in the northwestern and central Commonwealth (regions 10-8, 6).
