History in the Bahamas:
Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for pinelands, scrublands and savannas in the northwestern and southeastern Archipelago (Abaco, Andros, New Providence, Eleuthera, Aklins Island, Crooked Island, Long Cay, Mayaguana, Great Inagua).
Comments:
In pinelands and thickets; throughout the Archipelago (Correll & Correll, 1982).
