History in the Bahamas:
Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for disturbed areas near dwellings in the northwestern and central Commonwealth (Grand Bahama, Andros, New Providence, Eleuthera, Long Island, Watling’s Island). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 475) for disturbed areas and open coppices nearly throughout the Archipelago (regions 10-8, 6-1).
