History in the Bahamas:
Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for freshwater pools and in sinkholes in the northwestern Commonwealth (Andros, New Providence). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 17-18, with illustrations) for brackish marshes, pools and ponds nearly throughout the Commonwealth (regions 10-3).
