Sisyrinchium rosulatum E.P. Bicknell
Annual blueeyed-grass

Sisyrinchium rosulatum

Family: Iridaceae

Group: Monocot

Substrate: Terrestrial

Habit: Herb

Perennation: Annual

Native Range: Apparently native to the southeastern United States and the Greater Antilles (Puerto Rico, Hispaniola); the Atlas of Florida Vascular Plants (see link below) treats this as not native to Florida, but other authors (e.g., Flora of North America, Flora of the West Indies, USDA PLANTS) differ. Correll & Correll (1982) considered it to be introduced to the Bahamas from South America.
