SOUTH FLORIDA Native Status: Native

South Florida History and Distribution: Ranked as presumed extirpated in Rare Plants of South Florida (Gann et al. 2002; pp 107-108) based on five collections between 1906 and 1954 in several hammocks on the Miami Rock Ridge in southern Miami-Dade County. Extirpation was attributed to lowering of the freshwater table in the region. There are no other records.
