Gann et al. 2002; pp 225-227) based on one extant occurrence in Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park of Collier County where it is still present. It was also recorded in 2009 by Keith Bradley via
iNaturalistin the northeastern Big Cypress National Preserve or nearby vicinity.
