South Florida History and Distribution: Ranked as critically imperiled in Rare Plants of South Florida (Gann et al. 2002; pp 449-450) based on two extant occurrences in two conservations areas within Monroe County Keys: Bahia Honda State Park, Dagny Johnson Key Largo Hammocks Botanical State Park. No new occurrences are known.
