Florida Keys History and Distribution: Reported in
1913 by John Kunkel Small for pinelands and sand dunes from the upper Keys to the lower Keys, but there are no other historical reports or herbarium specimens to support this. The few known populations appear to be spreading or persisting from cultivated plants.
