Florida Keys History and Distribution: Not reported for the Florida Keys by John Kunkel Small in 1913. First collected on Craig Key (a fill island) by Conrad D. Byrd in 1969 (s.n., FTG). Also reported for the Florida Keys portion of Biscayne National Park by Carter et al. in 1969. Apparently spreading as a weed.
